Does the game need an internet connection?
No. Saddlebag Library plays entirely offline. Your circuit, your ledger and your scrapbooks all save to your device and load again the next time you open the app.
I can't fit everything in the saddlebags. What do I do?
Penny the mule has a load limit that starts small. Pack the items each household actually asked for first, then mend and pack the rest as her trail sense grows over the season and she can carry more.
A book I sent out came back damaged. How do I fix it?
Open the volume from the outpost shelf and choose Mend. Depending on the damage you'll paste a loose page, stitch a split spine, or fit a new cover. Badly worn magazines can instead be cut into clippings for the scrapbook bench.
Why can't I reach a hollow I've heard about?
Some stops only open once a nearby household trusts you enough. Keep meeting requests and having good conversations on your visits, and check the Standing tab in the Ledger to see how close each hollow is.
How do I use my own photo on a scrapbook cover?
At the scrapbook bench, tap the cover picture option and choose either Camera to take a new photo or Photos to pick one from your library. Only the picture you choose is used, and it stays on your device.
Can I turn off the music or sound effects?
Yes. Open Settings from the map screen for separate toggles for music, sound effects, haptics and the daily crate reminder. Your choices are remembered.
