Saddlebag Library does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. The game has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no network connection of any kind. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
What stays on your device
- Game progress. Your circuit, your ledger, the households you've met, your mule's condition and your season all save to a file in the app's own storage on your device.
- Scrapbook cover photos. When you paste a cover picture onto a scrapbook, the chosen image is copied into the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
- Your preferences. Music, sound effect, haptic and notification settings, and the carrier name you choose, are saved on your device.
Camera
If you tap the camera option at the scrapbook bench, the app opens your device's camera so you can photograph something (a recipe card, a quilt block, a keepsake) to use as a scrapbook cover. The photo you take is saved only inside the app's own storage. It is never uploaded, shared or sent anywhere.
Photo library
If you choose a photo instead of taking one, the app uses Apple's built-in picker to let you select a single image from your library. The app only ever receives the one image you pick; it has no access to the rest of your photo library.
Notifications
The app can show one optional local reminder when a new donation crate is waiting at the outpost. This notification is generated and delivered entirely on your device — nothing is sent to any server, and you are only asked for permission after you've played long enough for the reminder to make sense. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.
No third parties
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software of any kind, and makes no network requests. Nothing about your play is ever sent off your device.
Children's privacy
Saddlebag Library does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this same address with an updated date at the top.
